“But I call to God … morning, noon, and night, and he hears my voice.” Psalm 55:16-17
“Work and pray.” - The motto of the Benedictine Monks
The Practice: Body engaged prayer three times each day
Our second practice is to pray three times a day (morning, noon and evening) with our bodies engaged. Each of these times offer us a choice to be assimilated to our cultures or to life with God:
Morning prayer - The choice start the day in legalism or in truth.
Noon prayer - The choice to let our stories be written by others or by God.
Evening prayer - The choice to escape or rest.
