If you are a regular attender of Reality Church you’ll receive email instructions to sign up for a picnic location. If you’re new and would like to join in, connect with us.

There will be gatherings spread out around the city and we encourage you to sign up to join one. Here are a few things you'll need to know:

Sign Up To Join A Picnic Gathering

Signing up and indicating how many people you will be bringing is an important part of helping to keep each other safe, keep our group sizes within the guideline limits, and to let the picnic captains know who will be joining them. If you would like to invite someone who does not normally attend Reality Church, please make sure they also sign up.

By taking these step we can show care for the other community members who may also be using the park, ensuring we do not overwhelm or crowd any spaces as we represent our church.

What To Bring

Please bring your own food, drinks, and supplies and do not plan to share items. We can't wait to potluck old school style as soon as we're able but for now we want to look out for the health and safety of our church family. Don't forget cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, wipes, water bottles, and any activities you may want to do that allow for social distancing to be maintained.

Staying In Touch

Once you have signed up, your picnic captain will have the contact information you provided and can connect with you if there is a change - including any changes due to weather, meeting time, or location.

Some Things to Keep In Mind

• Please do not attend a picnic if you or someone in your home is unwell

• Keep 2 metres apart at all times

• Continue to wash your hands or use sanitizer often

• Do not share food, drinks or utensils

• If someone chooses to wear a mask while attending the picnic please be respectful of their choice in word and action

• There is not a formal program planned for our time together - use this time to get to know someone better, encourage one another, or find out how you can be praying for a brother or sister

• Hold off on group singing for now

At Reality Church one of our values is being a family. Breaking bread together, sharing our lives with one another, and pressing in to knowing and being known are integral to how we live out being the family of God with the people he has put us together with in this time and place.

While we have been able to stay connected, to sing, to learn, to pray, and to grow while we have been apart, nothing compares to time spent in each other's company. Family Picnic Sunday Gatherings are one way we can be together right now, while we still anticipate gathering as a whole church family someday. We hope you'll pack a little picnic and join us in practicing community together.
