Luke portrays Jesus as one who announces and enacts Jubilee, so as the resurrected King, we expect Jesus to continue his Jubilee ministry to the world. However, Jesus throws the disciples a curveball when he announces he's leaving. In this week's teaching, we learn what this means for his disciples, for us, and for Jesus' Jubilee mission.
